How we estimate heights
We gather every figure we can trace to a source and sort it by how it was obtained. The more controlled the measurement, the more weight it gets.
| Source type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Measured | NFL Scouting Combine, barefoot measurements published by NBA teams |
| Official listing | team rosters, league listings, the tale of the tape before a fight |
| Own statement | interviews, podcasts and social media posts by the person |
| Press report | a height printed by a publication without naming its source |
Photos of two people standing side by side help as well, especially when one of them has a measured height. A short explanation on every page says which sources the estimate rests on. When better evidence appears, we update the page.
Your guess
Think we got someone wrong? Every celebrity page lets you vote on how tall the person really is and shows the average of all guesses. You can also leave a comment and discuss the height with other readers.
Who we cover
Actors, musicians, athletes, creators and other public figures aged 18 and over. We add new pages every week, with a focus on people whose height is searched often but rarely documented well.
